Chiba is situated on the south east part of Tokyo and it has its own peninsula e prefecture.

I was advised by an Italian friend Marco, that he has been living in Japan for 20 years to go and try those little "Pandoro" cakes.I know it is not Christmas but it is my terminology on those up and down mountain slash hills.We also call them in Italy "mangia e bevi" meaning that on those one you can eat and drink.

Therefore I have spent the last 2 days adventuring myself on these areas,also to the fact that I had to attend as a guest rider at the 1st Edition of the Boso Grandprix 2014.

It was such a great opportunity to admire this area,and to discovery a complete different nature and such a great hospitality from Japanese people.

I went back twice to the same bakery where the shop assistant was really pleased to see me.I dont think it was because of the lycra, but the fact i loved her bread and pastries. She was talking to me in Japanese but I was useless with the language.

So perfect that I felt uncomfortable being sweaty and smelly.

I had a pleasure ride along those hills,enjoying the sceneries and discovery new places. A friend of mine is looking for a new location to open a coffee, cyclist meeting point.This was my results.

Quite pretty,jokes apart I think after 3 days of continuos riding in Japan,I came to a conclusion that it has a lot to offer.

FIrstly the people are welcoming even if there is a huge language barrier. Another great aspect of riding here is the your tyres and wheels will never get damaged due to the road conditions.

Why?you may wonder...The roads are like snookers table, smooth and soft like olive oil in the tongue. Yes. Just beautiful sensation throughout your body.

This morning I attended the first event at this Boso Grandprix 2014 event held at New Tokyo Circuit. It was like the series in UK, X number of riders and X number of Laps.

Being the first edition there was few people invited,like Japanese Pro Rider and a SaddleDrunker. It was a a great pleasure to turn up at the event and to be the only one to have you name written on the race number instead of a number.

Apart for the good result it was nice to feel the Japanese racing atmosphere that at it first edition and a limited numbers of riders due to other events being held around the Tokyo area or at a reasonable distance.

It was nice to see the great atmosphere created in the circuit,people had everything they needed. Also a BBQ.The cost for entry was really cheap.
